The Cemetery Commission meets at the call of the Mayor.
The Cemetery Commission shall consist of four (4) members appointed by the Mayor with the consent and approval of the City Council. One (1) member of the commission shall be a member of the City Council and all members of the commission shall be residents of the city. The Mayor shall be an ex-officio member of the commission but shall not vote except in the case of a tie. The term of office shall be two (2) years. No member of the commission shall be employed by or have a financial interest in any mortuary business or the sales or installation of monuments or markers.
