I need to be fingerprinted, where can I go to do this?: You may come to the police department and be fingerprinted. There is no fee to be fingerprinted for jobs and ect. Bring the fingerprint cards with you if you have them.

1. How do I file a report with the police department?: The police department will take reports in person by calling us to come to your residence or you coming to the polce department. We take reports in person to help maintain the credibility of the report. An officer can be dispatched to your residence or location by calling (660) 679-6131 if your report is an emergancy please dial 911.

2. How do I receive a copy of a police report?: You may receive a copy of a report at the Butler Police Department, there is a $5.00 fee per report.

3. I received a ticket can I pay at the police department?: No, the police department can not take your payment for court. You will have to contact the court clerk, at Butler City Hall or by calling (660) 679-6465.
