Development standards apply to all accessory structures greater than seven feet in height or greater than 120 square feet in size which have some form of roof element (open or solid) and are constructed within or partially within, the required side and rear yard areas.

Examples include:

  • Covered dog enclosures
  • Detached garage
  • Gazebos
  • Play structures
  • Shade structures
  • Shed
  • Trellises

Development standards for the construction of patios, decks, and balconies establish maximum coverage, height, and setbacks.
