CODES OFFICER POSITION AVAILABLE

The City of Butler is accepting applications for a full-time position in the Administrative Department for a Codes Officer.  The salary range is $35,000 to $45,000 per year depending upon qualifications.  We offer employer fully paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance and the MO LAGERS Retirement system.  Successful candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, or any equivalent combination of education and experience, and a valid driver’s license.   Also required is one or more years in the construction field and/or experience as a Codes Officer.  Pre-employment and random post-employment drug testing are required.  Applications are available at Butler City Hall, 22 West Ohio Street, Butler, Missouri 64730, or on our website at https://www.cityofbutlermo.com.  The City of Butler is an equal opportunity employer.  Position is open until filled.


Butler Aquatic Center

The City of Butler is now accepting applications for persons interested in employment at the Butler Aquatic Center. Lifeguard candidates must be 15 years of age by June 1, 2022. Candidates must be or be able to become Red Cross certified lifeguards. Pre-employment and post-employment random drug screening is required for the lifeguard position. Starting pay is $10.30 per hour with automatic step increases for each year of service. Applications should be submitted by 5 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2022 to accommodate the City’s training schedule.

Apprentice Lineman Position

The City of Butler is accepting applications for a full-time position in the Electrical Distribution Department for an Apprentice Lineman.   The hourly rate begins at $14.50 per hour depending upon qualifications.  We offer employer paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance and contributions to the Missouri LAGERS Retirement system.  Successful candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, or any equivalent combination of education and experience, and a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL Class A endorsement within 6 months.  Pre-employment and random post-employment drug testing are required.  Applications are available at Butler City Hall, 22 West Ohio Street, Butler, Missouri 64730, or on our website at https://www.cityofbutlermo.com.  The City of Butler is an equal opportunity employer.  Position is open until filled.
