Economic Development Strategy

The City of Butler engaged the services of Marks Nelson, an economic development firm, in 2024 to enhance the community's economic growth. Marks Nelson has been diligently crafting a strategic plan to attract new businesses and support the sustainability of existing companies. Recently, Marks Nelson convened with the City Council to discuss the plan, marking the initiation of implementing the economic development strategy. Below, you will find the three predefined goals and objectives, along with the strategic actions slated to take place. This represents the first of many steps aimed at attracting new businesses to the community, fostering future growth.
